Pelike

In ancient Greece, a Pelike was a vessel designed as a container for water or wine. At that time, it was also common to illustrate the surface of the vessels with motifs referring to myths, stories and anecdotes, to alive them wherever the vessels were displayed.

The use of digital technology allows us to design and create ornaments that are an expression of the 3D printing process. Algorithms and scripts become the language used to communicate with these tools. The large amount of data used is reflected in surfaces of great visual complexity and at the same time, of mesmerising precision.
